Taiwan Earthquakes: More than 80 earthquakes were felt in Taiwan in just one night. Among them, the strongest earthquake had a magnitude of 6.3. People felt over 80 earthquakes along Taiwan’s east coast from Monday evening to midnight local time. This was reported by the news agency Reuters.
According to the report, the earthquake was felt intermittently throughout the night on Monday. It shook large areas of northern, eastern and western Taiwan, including the capital Taipei. However, initially there were no reports of casualties and damage in these earthquakes.

Wu Chien-fu, director of the seismological center, said that although the earthquakes were frequent, they were not very strong. And there was no damage. Before this, in September 1999, an earthquake of magnitude 7.6 killed about 2,400 people.
